How it Works
It’s very easy to implement cardiovascular testing into your Athletic Program.
- Choose the dates you would like to do your testing. We test 7 days a week.
- We send the supplies you need to your school.
- Scheduling begins when we send you a link from our secure system, and you send it out to your student athletes.
- Your student athletes choose their own appointment at a day/time that works well for their schedule, so it doesn’t interfere with class, practice, or games.
- Your student athlete will upload their insurance information when they schedule, or we can connect with your EMS.
- We rent a space on campus to do the testing.
- Our technicians come to the school, check supplies and equipment, set up the room, and clean-up after testing.
- You receive your reports and images in 24 hours through our secure system.
- Any abnormalities detected will be shared immediately with the point person at the school.
We provide on-site comprehensive cardiovascular testing for student athletes between the ages of 12-25. Our testing includes an EKG, a full echocardiogram and a full vascular ultrasound to determine if there are any abnormalities that are commonly found in athletes and that can lead to Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), including Myocarditis, Pericarditis, Arrythmias, HCM, Blood Clots, DVTs (Deep Vein Thrombosis) and PEs (Pulmonary Embolisms) just to name a few.
We work directly with the student athlete’s insurance, so there is no out-of-pocket cost to the student, the family, or the school, and there’s nothing to purchase.
We come directly to the school, decreasing the risk of exposure to COVID-19 for your athletes if they had to go off campus for testing. We have a 24-hour turnaround time for return of records and images.
We rent a space on campus to do the testing. The rent is paid to the School, the Athletic Program, or the Sports Medicine Program after testing.
Our mutual goal is to help save as many students as possible, and we continue to remain committed to doing everything we can to help keep your student athletes safe.
