Beats Athletic Testing will bill the policyholder’s primary health insurance carrier after testing has been completed. We accept what the carrier deems usual and customary; Beats Athletic Testing does not balance bill.
As required by law, the policyholder’s deductible and co- insurance will be billed (if applicable). If a deductible or co-insurance is due, Beats Athletic Testing is happy to offer a payment plan or we can provide a Waiver of Financial Responsibility to eliminate the balance for those facing financial hardship. One circumstance, for example, is being a college student with significant financial restrictions because they are a full-time student.
If your student has an HSA, FSA, and HRA, funds may be automatically deducted.
The policyholder will very likely receive multiple EOBs from the insurance carrier for services performed, but these are not bills and no payment should be made to the insurance carrier.
